1.5 lbs flank steak, trimmed

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup pineapple juice
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

  • For the Pineapple Salsa:

    1 fresh pineapple, peeled, cored, and diced

  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1/2 red onion, diced
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice

  • Preparation:

    Marinate the Steak:

    1. In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, pineapple juice, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, red pepper flakes, and black pepper.
    2. Add the flank steak to the marinade, ensuring it’s fully coated.
    3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight.

    1. In a medium bowl, combine pineapple, red bell pepper, red onion, jalapeno, cilantro, and lime juice.
